Gift Foundation partnership with Darul Arqam Al-islamia
The Gift Foundation has partnered with Darul Arqam Al-Islamia, Bangladesh to support future scholars, helping talented students access quality Islamic education and opportunities for higher study at Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt.
Darul Arqam Al-Islamia, established in 2019 in Uttara, Dhaka, Bangladesh is a fully Arabic-medium institution designed to bridge the gap between Bangladesh’s Qawmi, Alia, and General education systems. The institution has received formal academic equivalence (Muʿādalah) from Al-Azhar University, Egypt in June 2021 - allowing its graduates to gain direct admission into Al-Azhar without any additional qualification requirements (terms and conditions apply).
Through this partnership, Darul Arqam provides a unique international pathway for Bangladeshi students to pursue higher Islamic studies in Egypt. Its high academic standards, Arabic-medium instruction, and strong spiritual ethos have made it a trusted feeder institution for Al-Azhar University, nurturing a new generation of scholars.
Currently, around 50 Darul Arqam students are studying at Al-Azhar University with excellent reputations, and most of them are studying on scholarships.
